Pilgrims in Santiago (Fr 11 Oct)

Just wanted a quick update with some pics of fellow pilgrims we reunited with in Santiago.   Many more I didn't get a chance to take a pic of.  Great bunch of people.

Elkhart, from Wolfsburg, Germany (home of Volkswagen), good friend of two women from Nova Scotia, who together celebrated the birthday of one of the women the night we first shared a room with them:

On the left, mother, from Penticton, of man on right from Vancouver.  Don't know the woman in the middle:

Andrew, a police officer from Hungary.  We first met him in Leon, the day he turned 24.  We often found him singing as he walked the Camino:

Nia, a Spaniard who runs a place of peace and serenity with her husband (from India?) she met on the Camino.  She typifies peace and serenity in her interactions with people on the Camino:

Denis, from Ottawa.  Fluently trilingual (French, English, Spanish) and one of three brothers-in-law walking the Camino.  We met them all our first day in Orisson:

Jorg, from Germany.  Great guy, very generous.  We spent a few nights with him, starting just beyond Leon.  He was about to hop a bus back to St Jean Pied de Port, where he left his motorcycle:

Jack and Maggie, from New York.  We walked with them one day and spent a few nights with them afterwards.  Maggie normally has her eyes open.  Blame the photographer:

Peter, from Australia, who did the Camino with his son.  They were in the front row at tonight's mass, on the opposite side from us:

Karen and Kim from North Carolina.  We first met them at San Nicholas 2 or 3 weeks back and saw them most nights since.  This was taken right after the 7:30 mass at the cathedral:

A few more we met today: Eleanor from Victoria, Norbert from Germany, Terry from St Thomas, Joe (Zubiri) aka cocotoes from the Appalachian Trail, one of two young women from San Juan Islands, couple from Bellevue.
