This afternoon found us tired, needing a sit down and washroom break. We found this delightful little coffee shop and ordered an espresso and large coffee. We took our seats and soon the owner arrived with our coffees... and two beautiful fruit tarts, sitting on a swirl of chocolate as a gift to us.
So nice!
Our dilemma was that we were en route to our favourite restaurant "Doroty" to have dinner after the coffees and a rest, but we knew we couldn't have our tart and dinner too. The beauty of the act of kindness and the tarts made the decision easy, so we ate them and decided to get some salad fixins on the way home and eat in the comforts of our hostel's kitchen.
Polish meals are tasty and big on meat and starch, so a simple salad made for a nice change.
