Krakow is a beautiful city, filled with beautiful people. Founded in the 10th century, it rose to be the capital of a huge empire, then fell to a series of overlords, most recently the Nazis from 1939 to 1945, then the Communists from 1945 to 1989. Somehow, the people withstood it all and have emerged as a proud people. And the architecture stands as a testament to the golden ages of the past. Some snapshots of this beautiful city:
